Does anyone actually win Playing online (live) blackjack ?
Main Post:
So I’m just curious. I use 5Dimes currently but used to be on Bet-online casino. I am a sports bettor so I strictly use the sports book and do not gamble on the casino or live blackjack. Only time I will play poker or black jack is if I’m on vacation on a cruise or real life casino. However this past weekend I decided to give the live blackjack a try (big mistake )with some of my sports winnings the one where you join a table and see the dealer like virtual blackjack. I took $100 to the table and started betting $5-10 per bet. I literally lost every single hand and the dealer bust once out of maybe 20 hands or so. I was hitting when I was supposed to and staying when I was supposed to... did not matter dealer shows 18,19 or 20 every single hand and just saying “sorry” while she cleans out the table over and over. People were getting angry in the online chat and one dude actually got banned lol. Anyways I do not understand how people can make a profit when the odds are so overwhelming bad so I was curious if you guys actually make money from this. I actually called them and banned all online casino games so I won’t be tempted to go in there. Super shady experience lol
Top Comment: I played blackjack on several websites and it never was that bad. But it also never was a great experience either.
Online Live Blackjack (For Americans)
Main Post:
Hello,
Other seemingly experienced posters have mentioned these things over and over again, but I felt like making one thread dedicated to this topic to clear up anything muddy about it.
I have brain damage, unfortunately. Whether it was the result of gambling online (and losing obviously), or being brain damaged led me to gambling online, I don't have much time left alive. However, it would make me feel better if one person now or in the future was thinking about depositing money onto one of these tables, believing it to be a fair game where with good skills and practice they would win, decided not to after reading the facts.
I started practicing zen count about 3 months ago because I was tired of losing online, but liked playing blackjack. What makes the game interesting for me is waiting through negative shoe composure, seeing what trash hands are made in your hole and the dealer's, and then being rewarded when the pendulum shifts to a positive count into the player's favor, and seeing what hands come out.
Unfortunately when a player is playing with the shoe cut in half (50%) penetration, just because of reality and numbers you will almost never get favorable series. Usually, as soon as some light starts to shed, time is up and then cards that were 'shuffled' off camera come as a new shoe. Counting has no effect on these rules, because the cards are shuffled before any significant change is allowed to occur.
Because I have brain damage, I learn things in hindsight, after the fact. All the hundreds of hours I wasted on their tables, and never reaching a true 1 in either direction, maybe 3% of the time, never computed fully until now. The posts here on reddit, never fully computed, until now. I had to read dozens of posts dating back to 2010 on countless blackjack forums, written by dozens of different players, all stating the same things and the math behind it. Oh, and of course, lose thousands and more importantly hundreds of hours of time. There is nothing interesting about this live game; I have way more fun playing with playchips on the app I practice on. The only experience I've had playing online is experiencing loss streaks of 4-8 hands, every other shoe. The variance in the House's favor is remarkably bad, the runouts I've seen on there. Add to the fact that you have no idea what's going on in the back room, there are so many ways to rig the game even further on top of already impossible rules.
Finally understanding this, I've started to look for a 9-5 again, minimum wage and I'll be jumping up and down. The app that I practice on, I've maintained a rank of top 100 for months. Their rules are identical to the ones I played in @ Borgata 3.5 years ago: ~ 75% pen, DAS, 3:2 bj, and unlike Borgata up to 3x splits which is fun. You can watch me play sometimes live @ twitch.tv/balancedtrees to see how effective counting really is. But not at rigged games/rules. I get TC+1 almost every other shoe, sometimes every other 2, so I don't feel like I'm getting boned by rigged game. I've seen TC+4 once on here, and +2 - 2.5 is also balanced. In the last year of playing probably 500-1000 of those rigged shoes online, between two providers, I got a TC+3 one time. And I remember in that series, the cards were shitty too. I expect to win nearly every fucking hand when I have a +3% increase in advantage; fuck that shit bro.
So in conclusion, as people have mentioned before, and on these other forums, if this is a question about earning money, reality is a person will earn more for their time spent working at McDonalds. This is a 100% mathematical fact, to clear up any possible delusional thinking a person has. So that could only mean that if you play online, you're either: addicted and need help, or don't know any better, in which case I hope this information might change the latter.
Good day, and good luck.

Good post. Casinos loved the suckers who believe the can consistently make money playing their rules for BJ.
Online live dealer vs software blackjack
Main Post:
Hi everyone,
Software blackjack has always been okay, but ever since I started playing with live dealers I find it so much more engaging. Especially when you happen across a lively table that gets the dealer chatting.
What is your preference?

I swear man I've never seen dealers pull 21s outta no where like I have on online live dealer. Def not being a conspiracy theorist but mannnnn I've played a lot of blackjack irl and it doesn't even compare.
Online Blackjack

Do you guys ever play online? The majority of blackjack I’ve played I’ve done it online and was curious as to which platforms you used. I’ve always used Bovada.lv and wasn’t sure if there was a more credible one to be using or not. Is there a way we can tell we aren’t being scammed if playing online? Additionally, as far as I understand Bovada has a weird courier rule where if you want to cash out it has to be through a snail mailed check. Any ideas?

I use bovada quite frequently but im on the bitcoin side of things. I have heard its very sketchy to get a cash out through a check but the bitcoin cash out rules seems to be pretty decent, one cash out every 3 days I believe and its somewhat instant to get your funds back out.
As a live dealer, I just want to ask, why do you play Blackjack?

To make money, and take a bit of pleasure from beating the casinos. And it's kind of fun.
Live dealer experience
Main Post:
Hello dear players, i am a live blackjack dealer and i have a few words to say. First of all i would like to say that we genuinely care for the player and most of the time dealers are cheering for you to win. we dont work for the casino we work for the streaming service and we just deal. Because of the covid situation, in some countries we have to work 12hr shifts which are very tough so if we seem tired and not involved in the gameplay dont be too hard on us. As you already know online casinos are very different from real ones so we have some different rules when it comes to dealing. We have to do everything by the manual and if we dont well probably not get the bonus haha. Remebering and following hundreds of rules isn't easy. We are not robots and sometimes we fail and make mistakes, which not only stalls the game but it also costs us our monthly bonus. So I would like to ask you to be a little more considerate when playing/interacting with a delar. I also get this a lot, when players win some they always ask if they can tip. As much as id want it to be possible unfortunately it isn't. But you can kind of tip us by leaving a kind message like: Great dealing! Very fast dealer!.. you get the idea. It show up on our profule and helps us get bonuses at the and of the month. Thank you for reading and i wish you the best of luck!
Ps: if you have any question regarding live dealing feel free to ask.
Top Comment: Don't take anyone's comments online too seriously. People say absurdly horrible things and most of them are just degenerate losers that hate themselves and are taking it out on the dealer. The only thing I'll say is don't criticize how people play. When a dealer says "See, these folks don't know how to play and are ruining the table" when people split 66v4 I really just want to tell them to STFU.
Places to play online blackJack

Looking to get into some online gambling. Any suggestions for a trusted, reliable, and not completely rigged online blackjack game would be? Also curious how do you guys end up cashing out from the online gambling is linked to your bank account or a paypal? Any advice is welcome.
Top Comment: Are you in the United States? If so, your options are somewhat limited to sites like Bovada, BetOnline, or Bitstarz (see sidebar). I've used all three for Blackjack without any issues whatsoever - they've always seemed fair too. BetOnline even has a live dealer casino that's pretty cool. However, they did land in hot water when an employee (who was fired) was accused of using slight of hand to manipulate the deck [ source ]. If you are outside the USA, check out Mr.Green, Rizk, Dunder, or Vera & John. I can't vouch for these sites personally (I live in the USA so I can't play here), but from what I've read they are very popular and thus have very little incentive to "rig" their games. The easiest, fastest, and cheapest way to play in the USA would be using Bitcoin. PayPal isn't an option on 99.9% of all online casinos (at least for USA players). In fact, I'd be wary of any online casino offering PayPal banking as the company outright bans accounts with gambling transactions on record. Simply put, Bitcoin is the very best option. But in order to use Bitcoin, you'll have to send it from a wallet like Coinbase to your account on Blockchain.info first, then to the banking address given by the casino (and vice versa). The reason being that Coinbase or a few other reputable Bitcoin wallets don't allow gambling transactions, just like PayPal. So many loops to jump through for Americans! I can ramble on about this all day so just reply with any questions and I'll message as they come in :)
Bovada live blackjack is fishy.

American here. Been playing bovada live blackjack here lately and been noticing some funky stuff going on. I'm not saying they are cheating but I'm not saying they aren't either. Been noticing that when the dealer draws an upcard of 2 they will almost always have a down card of 9 totalling 11 and will always draw the 10 card hitting a perfect 21( counted this happening in a single shoe 3 times and 2 times in another shoe). Also if I draw 21 (not blackjack) they will almost certainly get a 21 as well causing me to push. The dealer almost never busts even on a 5-6 card draw (ie start with a 14 and draw 2s and 3s 3 to 4 times and not bust and get 20 or 21). And no matter how many times I manage to draw a 20 whether it be just from initial draw or hitting,, the dealer will have bust cards and win every single time. Anyone else notice this? And is there any other sites that can play live dealer in the us?
